At Iqra we use digital technologies to innovatively inspire our teachers and pupils to enhance and enrich the curriculum. When planning projects, we adopt a cross curricular, innovative approach to enhance pupils understanding of our enriched, broad and balanced curriculum. Our aim is to offer unique experiences and opportunities empowering the future generation to acquire, demonstrate, articulate and contribute to a global digital world.

We are fortunate to have our very own Media Suite with an actual green screen! Click the link below to take a tour.

What we hope to achieve:

The Sutton Trust Education Endowment Foundation research in raising standards indicates that digital technologies have a direct impact on children’s attainment. This, coupled with the impact on collaborative learning and peer review and presentation, should raise attainment for our children in all areas of the curriculum.

Media Awards

Year 5 and 6 pupils were awarded the Buckinghamshire and Berkshire CUT FILMS 2018 award for their short films on Anti-Smoking. The project allowed pupils to develop transferable and decision making skills, as well as gaining a better understanding of the dangers of being a smoker and a passive smoker, which hopefully will stay with them throughout their lives.
