At Iqra we aim to ensure that all pupils:

  • Can analyse problems in computational terms and have repeated practical experience of writing computer programs in order to solve such problems
  • Can evaluate and apply information technology, including new or unfamiliar technologies, analytically to solve problems.
  • Are responsible, competent, confident and creative users of information and communication technology.

At Iqra we are very aware that Computing is a central life skill which our pupils will need not only throughout their education but also in their future careers. It is essential to keep up to date with these changes to ensure that we provide our pupils with the latest education.

Computing is not just confined to stand alone lessons but is also covered in our creative curriculum. We have invested heavily in different types of hardware, like tablets, VR devices, laptops and drones to enable our pupil’s to gain a variety of skills so that they can apply their knowledge in current society.
